Virginia is green and beautiful and for lovers

I did minimal research about this area of the country because Virginia is really Dylan's territory. He has family in Richmond, almost took a job out of school in Charlottesville and his hometown of Bethesda, MD is less than 10 minutes from the border of VA. Even after years of Dylan mentioning the beauty of the state, I still underestimated Virginia. When I think Virginia, I think American history, 400 years of it. But I was unaware that Virginia is home to Shenandoah National Park which sits amongst the Blue Ridge Mountain Range and has close to 1 million acres of National Forest land (appropriately named "George Washington and Jefferson National Forest). Virginia surprised me in the best way possible! Maybe is was the time we spent on the water or the family time or the time of year but one thing is for certain, our time is Virginia was wonderful.
